Do I have superpowers?  I think not. I am, after all, but an ordinary human being (in fact, more ordinary than most) .  But ordinary aside, I know for a fact that I do differ from everyone else in one small way. Or perhaps in a big way. You decide. Because today, for the first time ever, my secret will be known to the world.
And here it goes:

“HARRY POTTER, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

No, Harry, I do not possess your magic powers. Far from it. But what  I do possess is that most magical of your accessories: The invisibility cloak. Yes Harry, I TOO CAN MAKE MYSELF INVISIBLE.

Problem is, Harry, I have not yet managed to control the cloak like you can. I am still struggling with trying to find out how to turn it ON and OFF at will. I hope when I give you an example of what happens to me you can offer me some tips.
This is how the cloak works so far:
Say I walk into a shop, right? I need someone to help my buy something, so I turn and look expectantly at the first available sales assistant (I always pick an assistant who is also looking in my general direction) To my surprise, the assistant does not seem to be able to see me. I then proceed to use my enhanced approach strategy: I move in front of this person or in front of another sales assistant (I always choose one who is not speaking with another customer). My enhanced approach strategy also includes making myself even more noticeable by smiling and saying something like ”Good morning”.
Woah! Same thing! The assistant will turn his or her head up, will look towards me, but will not say “Good morning” back to me, will not smile, will not move an inch in my general direction. This person simply looks THROUGH ME!!

So I know Harry, right there and then, that I AM AN INVISIBLE CUSTOMER!! What else could I be?  I mean think about it. There I am, ready to buy something and give in return an amount that will pay part of this person’s salary and part of the business expenses, but they can’t take my money because I AM NOT VISISBLE TO THEM!!!

So Harry, as I want sales persons to approach me, smile at me, ask me what assistance I may be needing and sell me something, how do I turn this damned cloak off so they can finally start seeing me when I walk into their shops???
