Pambos Demosthenous back to the top

Pampos

Pambos Demosthenous, combines a robust scientific background with the warmth and dynamism of his personality. As PeopleAchieve’s Business Development Manager for the Middle East, he is responsible for designing client processes that enhance Human Capital value and bring about organisational change. Clients find that his methodical approach, energy and ability to empathise with people, fuel change processes to their full implementation.

Pambos is a Fulbright scholar, who studied Genetics and Biochemistry at The University of Wisconsin in Madison. His passion for business, brought him back to Cyprus where he started his own company in trading veterinary supplements and pharmaceuticals both locally and in the Middle East. Pambos set up a wide network of clients and distributors across the territory. His strong business relationships and his scientific knowledge enabled the development of new and successful products that are pioneering the horse and camel industry. During this time he acquired his first experience of conducting training. He was responsible for the sales and new product training of his distributors. He enjoyed the experience of sharing know-how, and witnessing how it empowered his participants, and decided to work more fully in this area.

In 2007 he was selected by PeopleAchieve, to work with them in the Middle East. His understanding of the business realities within the region, as well as the scientific approach he uses in problem solving, help him identify client needs and design relevant practical solutions.

In his free time, Pambos is a horse racing enthusiast and horse breeder.  He finds that the tender and peaceful nature of horses gives him another perspective and keeps him in touch with nature and the environment.

Marina Xenophontos Michaelou  back to the top

Marina

Marina’s desire to help others, has shaped her career. She studied Psychology and Sociology and while working towards her Masters degree, she joined Multichoice Cyprus as a Customer Service Representative. Her commitment to building relationships and her determination to exceed clients’ expectations led to her appointment as Head of the Customer Service Team. In that position she gained her first experience of running training and the need to make it  highly practical so as to deliver the expected business results. So her approach is highly practical, with plenty of examples and exercises to ensure real learning. She joined PeopleAchieve in 2007 as Client Relationship Manager, while continuing with training and keynote speaking at conferences.

In her personal life Marina is also very active. As a lover of the environment she explores Cyprus’ natural beauty as well as protecting it. When she joined PeopleAchieve in 2007 she introduced a paper recycling programme. Having a soft spot for animals, she assists with finding homes for the less fortunate ones who were abandoned. In the rest of her spare time, Marina enjoys going to the movies or engrossing herself in a good book.
